염증현상은 해당기관에 현재 염증이 있는 상테를 나타내 주면서 헤링의 법칙(Hering’s law)에 따라 치유되는 과정도 표현하고 있어 이 부분에서는 특별히 환자와의 충분한 문진에 의해서 관단하는 것이 매우 바람직하다.
자연치유의 과정이 모두 끝나게 되면 병소취변(울타리)에는 가느다란 하얀 선의 흔적만 남게 되며 패여 있던 병소의 조직이 조금씩 위로 채워지면서 어두웠던 색감도 처음처럼 밝게 번하게 된다.
즉 질병의 진행에 따라서 홍채섬유조직에 물리적 변화가 일어나 색상 또한 하얀색에서 밝은 회색, 어두운 회색, 검은색 순으로 나타나는데 이러한 과정을 급성, 아급성, 만성, 말기로 포현하고 있다. 위와 같은 과정에서 회복하는 역순의 단계에서는 초기에 느꼈었던 통증을 다시 경험하게 되는데 이러한 현상을 동양의학에서는 호전반융 또는 핑현반응 이라고 하며 홍채학 에서는 병중의 치유과정으로 해석하여 원래의 상태로 회복하고 있는 단게적 과정을 헤링의법칙이라고 한다.
Inflammatory lesion
It is a phenomena common in open lacuna or closed lacuna where it is possible to spot white clouidy or hazy smoke-like substances filing it. Such are referred as inflammatory lesion.
It is indicative that the affected organ is suffering an inflammation and also show the process of healing through hering’s law of cure that it would be proper to go through adequate amount of medical examinations before making a judgement.
With the end of natural healing there will only remain a thin white line where
the lacuna has been and the collapsed portion will slowly level and the color will brighten. Such healing process reverses and even the pain returns, and this is
referred as improvement response or sage response in oriental medicine.
In iridology, it is defined as the process of healing and the process of healing through a number stages, the Hering’s law of cure.
